The Attacker's Dictionary: Passwords You Should Never Use For An RDP System

Rapid7 experts, Tod Beardsley, Roy Hodgman, Jon Hart and Harley Geiger have recently released a new research report entitled, "The Attacker's Dictionary". The report contains nearly a year’s worth of opportunistic credential scanning data collected from Heisenberg, Rapid7’s public-facing network of low-interaction honeypots.

In the report, more than 221,000 log-in attempts were monitored and the credentials hackers were using studied.
