A subject matter expert in Cloud technologies, Aaron has focused his career on securing organizations & their resources beyond the perimeter of the traditional network firewall. An avid international traveler, Aaron welcomed the opportunity to spend three months in Tel Aviv’, Israel training with Check Point’s research & development teams at the company’s global headquarters. Prior to joining Check Point, Aaron worked for Cisco as a Cyber Security Partner Account Manager, and Presidio as a Cyber Security Technical Account Manager.


Paul Warnagiris

CEO, TTG. Former CISO, Promontory Interfinancial

Paul Warnagiris is the CEO and Senior Security Analyst of The Teneo Group, a Cyber Security Services company. Paul has 20+ years of experience in cyber security. This time includes the positions of Network Security Analyst at UUNet and CISO at Promontory Interfinancial Network. As Chief Executive at Teneo, Paul helps companies of all sizes in all verticals to stay one step ahead of emerging threats by ensuring they can protect their data today and into the future. Paul is the author of Teneo’s mission: We Exist to Secure Your Network.


Paul Deardorff

Security Researcher, Rapid7

Paul Deardorff is a Rapid7 Security Researcher and has been part of the Rapid7 Labs team since 2014. Paul's research primarily focuses on network-based analysis and improving network visibility through unique methodologies. Prior to joining Rapid7, Paul worked with and founded a number of startups and helped launch several successful technology platforms in the K12 education space. Additionally, his work extended into the public sector where he consulted on issues of cybersecurity for malware investigation, criminal botnets, and counterterrorism. Today Paul's greatest passion is transforming novel research into product applications that ultimately make security systems stronger and easier to understand.


Ashley Lish

Cybersecurity Engineer

Security Engineer by day, Security Volunteer by evening, Security Enthusiast by night, Sleepy head by morning. Ashley Lish has been inspiring people to follow their dreams for as long as she’s been alive. With a deep passion for security, she strives to immerse herself in the security communities near and far. She’s climbed from the Help Desk into Security Engineer but doesn’t plan to stop there. She has spoken at several meetup’s and some of the biggest security conferences in the region. President of Security BSides RDU, Opening Speaker of CalckalackyCon 2019, and Marketing Assistant of Raleigh ISSA, she’s climbing her way to the top and wants you to come along! “A rising tide will lift all boats”


Lateek Willie

Adjunct Professor Specializing in CyberSecurity Law, Wake Forest

Lateek Willie is a Principal Cybersecurity Consultant focused on advising Executive IT & Cybersecurity leaders on strategic practices to mitigate organizations’ cybersecurity risk. As a Cybersecurity leader, Mr. Willie has architected, implemented and sustained organizations’ Information Security Programs for more than fifteen years. Mr. Willie’s experiences in information security include security advisory services, security program development and management, security operations center (SOC) integrations, ISO/IEC 27001 integrations, information security risk management, as well as threat and vulnerability management. In addition, he has worked in the capacity of a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO), Security Architect, Security Engineer, and Network Engineer. Mr. Willie is also an adjunct professor at Wake Forest University, teaching Cybersecurity Law.


Chuck Kesler

CISO, Pendo.io

Chuck brings a wealth of knowledge and executive level experience in information security from his lengthy tenure at Duke University Health System, and now serving as Pendo's information security leader. Given the unique strategic vision Chuck has instilled at each company, he's developed a keen understanding of cloud security and the associated risks and benefits.

Josh Wyatt

CISO, Infinia ML

Josh is the CISO at Infinia ML, a machine learning services company based in Durham, NC. He was previously the Director of Global DevOps for SolarWinds after holding security and engineering roles at iContact. While Josh is fascinated by many aspects of information security, he is particularly interested in behavioral analytics, especially as they pertain to incident response. Personal interests include the Internet of Things, working with his kids to repair small engine items such as lawn mowers and generators, cooking, and people watching.

Thomas Green

Security Solutions Engineer, Rapid7

Tom comes from a varied background to include both Public and Private sector. He has a BS in Information Assurance and a MS in Computer Science with a specialization in Security. Before working at Rapid7, Tom was employed as a Senior Security and Disaster Recovery Administrator for a large automotive manufacturer in the midwest. He utilized InsightVM and Metasploit Pro to balance vulnerability analysis with Pentesting and bolster security awareness through phishing campaigns.

Mike Curnow

Lead Security Operations Center Architect, Block Harbor Cybersecurity

Mike's a high functioning multi-faceted Cybersecurity professional dedicated to eliminating toxic cognitive dissonance in Cyberphysical System Security. To facilitate his goal, Mike engages in public speaking and works professionally in the field. After realizing glaring vulnerabilities in financial technologies and E-Commerce systems early on in his career, he's since pivoted from software development to securing systems to include (but not limited to) software, web applications and now his reach is in the Cyberphysical technology arena. He's a passionate researcher in exploring the increased attack surface that connected Cyberphysical devices present in our everyday lives, exploring what can go wrong and how to secure the Cyberphysical and Operational Technology (OT) attack surface that society relies on to push towards increased technological advance and keep people safe every day.
