Scott King is the Senior Director, Security Advisory Services for Rapid7 and has over 20 years experience in the cybersecurity and IT fields. Scott has worked extensively in the energy industry, DoD, state government, technology, and manufacturing industries. He brings a unique mixture of hands-on experience in incident response, pentesting, forensics, SecOps, architecture, engineering, and executive leadership. Prior to Rapid7, Scott ran a nationally recognized fortune 250 energy company’s cybersecurity program during which he chaired a cybersecurity CISO collective of the nation's 14 largest electric utilities, advisory board member for AGA’s Cybersecurity Task Force, board member for EnergySec, and co-chair for NBISE. He is a huge advocate and recognized leader in building cybersecurity programs and approaches to effective risk management.


Bob Rudis

Senior Director - Chief Security Data Scientist, Rapid7

Bob Rudis has over 20 years of experience using data to help defend global Fortune 100 companies and is currently [Master] Chief Data Scientist at Rapid7, where he specializes in research on internet-scale exposure. He was formerly a Security Data Scientist & Managing Principal at Verizon, overseeing the team that produces the annual Data Breach Investigations Report. Bob is a serial tweeter (@hrbrmstr), avid blogger (rud.is), R (#rstats) avunculur, author (Data-Driven Security), speaker, and regular contributor to the open source community.


Harley Geiger

Senior Director - Public Policy, Rapid7

Geiger is senior director for public policy at Rapid7, where he leads US policy engagement on cybersecurity, vulnerability disclosure, privacy, encryption, computer crime, and digital trade. Previously, Geiger was senior counsel at the Center for Democracy & Technology and senior legislative counsel for U.S. Rep. Zoe Lofgren. Geiger is an attorney and is CIPP/US certified.
