One doesn't have to dig too far into the headlines to know that 2021 has quickly become "the year of the supply chain attack". These campaigns are far more insidious and dangerous than the ransomware and crypto jacking plagues we're working through since they are far more stealthy and have much wider impact than a confined attack on a singular organization. In this session, we'll walk through the fundamentals of how these campaigns work, who they target, how they succeed, and why this is something of concern for each and every one of us. We won't end on such dire news, however, since we'll also see that there are effective deterrence, detection, and response actions to these attacks which can help prevent or reduce the impact of these events.

Following the presentation on the research, a panel of real-world, in-the-trenches security leaders and defenders will share their reaction and perspective on the supply chain risk.
